Faith's 8th Birthday

My Daughter's 8th birthday was yesterday.....where in the world does the time go! It seems like just yesterday she was one...My daughter is by far, the best thing to ever happen to me! I love the fact that she is silly, loves to play in the rain, is artistic (wonder where she gets that from!) thinks outside of the box and dances to her own drum....she decided she did not want a birthday party, but wanted to go to the american girl doll store. I have to say that place is an amazing place for a little girl! They made her feel like such a princess! And of course, I had to do a photo shoot.....

Planning and playing

I am planning my daughters 8th birthday photo shoot for tomorrow...the two things that I needed were a giant pink balloon and a tiny cake stand. I went everywhere looking for the cake stand, but me and Faith found a pink balloon! She has helped me plan this shoot from the beginning, she picked out the outfit, we agreed on location and she helped with the props. Tonight we went and picked up the balloon. Of course, as soon as we got home she wanted me to take pictures, even though it was dark out, I snapped a few...

Strawberry fields....

  This is my beautiful and silly daughter Faith, who, in 5 short days will be turning 8 years old. Where in the world does the time go? It seems like yesterday we were bringing her home from the hospital....I am so proud of the girl she has become. I guess now that I have a blog I can join the letters to my daughter blog posts! The other day we went strawberry picking got a few before it started to rain!
