    I am a firm believer in letting our children experience life, the good and the bad. By hiding the bad things from them we are not preparing them for life. Life is full of up and downs, disappointments and sadness. If we hide them from our children, and not let them experience what it feels like when they are young, they are not going to know how to handle those feelings when they get older.
