Chained

  Some say change is good for the soul, That without change the world would not be where it is today. But I hate change, I put off change until it gets to the point where a full on choice needs to be made. The funny thing is I love change in my art, I love trying and doing new things, learning keeps my work alive. Does every edit I try work out? No, some of them turn out quite bad, But that never has stopped me from trying something.
   So why is it so easy for me to change my art and not my life? The past few weeks have been filled with change. I took a step and left a job that I had had for 10 years and flew into the unknown. Would I like it? I had no clue, none, This was the ultimate unknown. Do I like it, yes, very much so, and I am very glad that held my breath, pinched my nose, closed my eyes and jumped into the unknown.
   Sometimes you stay with something so long you get chained to it. The best thing one can do is is break their chains and take a chance, take a risk and embrace change.
