Letters to my Daughter

Dear Faith,
When you were diagnosed with your immune deficiency at 15 months old I was scared to death. I see so many bad things at work I did not know what life had in store for you. But, you have proved my fears wrong, And have handled everything that has been thrown at you with an ease that amazes me. The one thing that has become a part of our routine is your allergy shots on Friday afternoons. Most of the time it is Daddy that takes you, and I know both of you like that time together, but once in awhile when I am not working I get to take you. I have calculated that you have had over 600 shots in your lifetime, and now don't even blink an eye at them. You are an amazingly brave little girl.
Waiting to get the shots, she gets 2 each week. What would we do without the iPad!

Signing in to get her shots...
 Waiting is the hardest part...
 Such a trooper...
